Gaby Espino married Venezuelan actor Cristobal Lander on June 14, 2007. On July 9, 2008, they welcomed their first child, a daughter named Oriana Lander.

During the filming of Mas Sabe el Diablo in 2009, Espino was linked to her co-star, Jencarlos Canela. In early 2010, Espino and Lander separated and it was rumored that it was because of Canela and Espino's relationship. Canela and Espino denied this and stated they were just friends.

Espino reconciled with Lander in November 2010, but they later divorced in March 2011 and once again rumors suggested that Canela and Espino were dating.

In September 2011, Canela and Espino did a live chat over social networking site Twitter, where they confirmed they were in relationship and announced that they were expecting their first child together. The godparents are gong to be Cristina Saralegui and Pitbull. Espino gave birth to their son, Nickolas Canela Espino, on February 12, 2012

Eminent magazines like Cosmopolitan, Elle, Vanidades, Maxim, Cromos, People en Español and now, LATINO SHOW MAGAZINE, have been embellished with the youthful and sensuous figure of Gaby Espino, the Venezuelan who has thousands of Latin American admirers sighing for her. And the thing is that Gaby has been part of the traditional families since her appearance in countless soap operas and commercials have kept her on the TV screens, an affair that on a daily basis gathers millions of Hispanic families inside their homes.

Gaby Espino, as she’s known to her public, was born in Caracas, Venezuela on November 15, 1977, under the name of Maria Gabriela Rugero. Her cheerful and dynamic attitude has always characterized her as outgoing and mischievous. Her passion for acting gave rise as a young girl. Since then, and with her mother’s support, she began appearing in various commercials nationwide. Not much time passed before the teen show Nubeluz brought to the public light her acting abilities. Going forward, acting and modeling contracts haven’t ceased to be offered, especially when in addition to her acting talent, she is recognized both in and out of her country as one of the most beautiful Latin women on television. These are attributes that she handles very well. Gaby knows that she looks fabulous, that is why she feels secure when posing behind the lens in tiny and colorful bathing suits. People en Español has acknowledged her as one of the 50 most beautiful.

Her role in the soap opera A todo Corazon has been one of the most important roles of her career since it was her first time as a starring actress. Her success in this series was such that renowned international companies like Gatorade, Dijijeans, FIZ y Tostitos, Pepsi, Polar, and recently Mall del Sur and Valmy, among many others, made her their advertising image.

In the late 90’s Gaby moved to Miami, where she currently resides and where she continued to engulf a shower of successes, playing starring roles in international soap operas and with important networks like Telemundo, Caracol TV, Venevisión Int., Telemundo NBC and Univisión among other media. Of the many soap operas that people remember her from are: Ojo por ojo, Sin vergüenza, Se solicita príncipe azul, Amantes de luna llena, Mundo de Fieras, with Televisa and Más sabe el Diablo, where she worked with the extremely famous Colombian actor, Miguel Varoni.

The soap opera world has surrounded her life with prince charmings and those with drama. And though things might appear like a fairy tale in Gaby’s life, the truth is that she has confronted one of the most difficult dramas that a person can experience; divorce. Especially when there are kids in the middle and when the media harasses and makes statements based on assumptions.

The breakup with her husband, Venezuelan actor Cristobal Lander, father of Oriana, her first daughter, was often mentioned in the artistic world, which drove Gaby Espino to endure very intense moments in her life. Nonetheless, after giving herself a second chance to reconcile her relationship, she realized that she had to make the decision to go forward and start a new life. In spite of this and the breakup, she has a good relationship with Cristobal. Oriana is more that motive enough to keep the harmony between them.

It was then when she started a new relationship with famous actor and musician JeanCarlos Canela. She met him while working side by side in a soap opera and together had little Nickolas, born on February 12, 2012, who at 5 months old has posed for important magazine covers both national and international. Nickolas has given her life an important course and in a special way has brought her closer to her current spouse.

Gaby has a family that the public adores. This is why the media follows and supports them. The new family has taken over magazine covers and television programs; people talk about and want to know about them. But what remains most beautiful about this successful woman is that she doesn’t stop being a charming human being, and in spite of all her triumphs she’s so down to earth that her family and her kids are the most important things in her life. She’s currently the exclusive talent of Telemundo with whom she’ll start a new project after her career break as a result of the birth of Nickolas.
